Rosalie Lansdowne

Rosalie Lansdowne has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada in Secondary Education with minors in Psychology and Geography.  After substitute teaching in Carson City Schools for ten years Rosalie decided that she would rather deal with four legged students and their two legged partners so went to work at Petsmart as a Dog Trainer, which she did for seven years.

Rosalie is well known in the Carson area not only for her work at Petsmart, but also through her involvement with Love On A Leash, a group that she started about 15 years ago that visits several senior care facilities in the area.  Rosalie is an AKC certified tester/evaluator for the AKC Canine Good Citizen program as well as being a Therapy Dogs, Inc., tester/observer.  If you are interested in training your dog as a therapy dog to visit nursing homes and/or hospitals, Rosalie’s classes will include behaviors and handling tips that will assist you in achieving these goals.  Her current group consists of a lot of former students!
