Basic Obedience Level I
Basic Obedience Level I- This class is for the owner who wants basic control of his/her dog, with the ultimate goal of a happy and reliable dog. The method works systematically through 3 phases: teaching, practicing, and testing while training the dog with only positive reinforcement. Each exercise is broken down into easily mastered steps. “I do not train your dog, I teach you how to train your dog.”
Whether your goal is a well mannered pet or ultimately an advanced obedience title, basic obedience classes will provide a solid foundation. Just as the weekly classes build on one another, there are five levels of obedience classes which progress through more and more advanced levels of training.
Basic obedience is appropriate for adult dogs and puppies over 4 months of age. For younger puppies there is a separate puppy class which provides socialization opportunities and age-appropriate training as well as basic puppy care.
COST: $100 for 6 weeks
