Agility Foundation 1– (Pre-requisite – Focus and Relationship Building class or completion Sports Puppy) This class lays the foundation for both obstacle performance and handling. It establishes the working relationship between you and you dog, and sets the stage for a fun and productive agility experience. The course focuses on teaching the dog body awareness, how to read your body cues, and introduces your dog to sounds and motion that go along with the fast paced sport of dog agility. Attention is paid to teaching you how to train your dog so that cues are clear, and your dog enjoys working with you. Your dog will get introduced to a jump and tunnel and the table. You will learn how to teach and practice all the foundation exercises by using items around the house…so no need for any expensive equipment to get started.
