Classes
Carson Dog Sports offer classes for everyone whether you just want to have fun with your dog in the backyard or whether you want to compete in an organized, competitive dog sport.
Classes are structured and seperated into three different categories:
- Puppy Classes
- The Backyard Champion Track and
- The Competition Track.
The Backyard Champion track is targeted to those owners who have no desire to compete in a dog sport but want a well mannered dog they can comfortably have in public and one they can impress their friends with at the family B.B.Q.
The Competition track is targeted to those that wish to compete in an organized dog sport.
Both the Backyard Champion track and the Competition track require a Pre-requisite of the four (4) week Focus and Relationship Building class. That class covers the tenants of positive reinforcement training we will be using in our classes, and the basic skills your dog needs to be successful in any group class setting.
The Puppy Classes do not require the Focus and Relationship Building class as a pre-requisite, and are separated mainly by age of puppies.
Carson Dog Sports also offers Open Practice times for those who are actively competing in agility, obedience, rally obedience or conformation. Click here for info on Open Practices.
